Running Aces Will Host the Trent Tucker Celebrity Poker Tournament

The Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus, Minnesota will be the host of the 10th yearly Trent Tucker Celebrity Poker Tournament. The event will be on September 11th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and will raise cash for the Trent Tucker Non-Profit Organization, which has been dedicated for the past 7 years to empowering the youth to make good choices.

Bob Farinella, the Running Aces Property Manager said that when they have constructed the Running Aces racing track and card track, they want to do a lot of things to help their community. They have thought that hosting the Charity Poker event would be a good way to help the community as well as show-off their card room. Farinella expects around two hundred thirty poker players to participate in the tournament as well as one hundred spectators to attend the event. The racing track opened in April. Some of the celebrities that already confirmed their participation to the event include Michael Jordan and Charles Oakley.

The prizes that are up for grabs in the event include the $12,500 cash, tickets to Minnesota professional sporting events and a fifty-two inch television. Poker slots can be purchased for $1,250 and spectator seats cost around $50. All participants to the event must be eighteen years old and above.

Trent Tucker said that they are very happy with the commitment of Running Aces Harness Park to improving the lives of youth in the community. He added that the poker room of Running Aces is incomparable. The poker room of Running Aces houses around twenty-five poker tables and twenty-five casino table games.
