Jamie Gold and Peter Eastgate to Participate in Poker in the Park Event at Leicester Square

Anybody attending the Poker in the Park event on August 13th, 2009 until August 14th, 2009 will have the chance to learn poker techniques from some of the biggest poker players in the circuit.

World Series of Poker Main Event Champions Jamie Gold and Peter Eastgate will both be speaking in the event aside from poker pros Annette Obrestad, Nik Persaud and Neil Channing. Special celebrity guests Michael Greco and Tony Cascarino will also discussing their love of the game and what attracted them to poker.

Event organizer Michael Caselli said that the line-up of guests that they have is a line-up that you would normally expect at one of the big poker tournaments in the world. He added that if ordinary players want to have the opportunity to learn from these players they have to spend more than 100,000 pounds.

At Poker in the Park you can learn from the best poker players for no cost at all. On the first day, Gold and Eastgate will conduct two lectures on participating in mid-size poker events while Persaud, Channing and Obrestad will follow that poker lecture up with important topics to be announced later.

On the second day, Gold will conduct a seminar for the 2nd time while Cascarino and Greco will shares their experiences in the circuit. Also scheduled to speak on the 2nd day are Alex Rousso, Liv Boeree, Paul Jackson, Nik Wealthall, John Tabatabai, Marc Goodwin and Ian Frazer.

Each lecture will last for thirty minutes followed by fifteen minutes of Question and Answer and autograph signing. Everything will happen in Leicester Square, London. Poker in the Park is Europe's largest poker festival and thousands of poker enthusiasts have participated previously.

Aside from the free lectures, poker enthusiasts can participate in free games, buy reasonably price poker books and poker gear and enjoy heads-up matches. Admission to the event is free.
