The Best Damn Poker Television show is headed into the European continent. The second season of the widely popular Fox Sports Network, which pits legendary poker pros Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke against one another to see who is the better instructor in Texas Holdem poker, premiered on October 20th, 2009 at 22:00 CET.
The show will be shown on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the Poker Channel Europe. After auditioning or qualifying for the Best Damn Poker Television show on UltimateBet, participants join Team Duke or Team Hellmuth to train and hone their skill in the game and compete against each other throughout the seven-episode poker series.
Participants are sent home each episode as Hellmuth and Duke discuss card play and review the competition before the final showdown where a winner is crowned. The poker series will also be repeated every Thursdays and Saturdays at 16:00 CET.
The Poker Channel Europe is the biggest dedicated gambling Television network in the European continent, available only to a worldwide audience and to more than eighteen million cable and satellite homes in the European continent.
