The UB.com Pro Freeroll Challenge Event

Team UB is conducting a popularity contest between its poker pros. The UB.com Pro Freeroll Challenge is set to pit Team UB poker pros against each other to see who can attract the most players in a $2K freeroll.

The challenge will consists of 6 freeroll events spread out over the next year. Each freeroll will be hosted by a Team UB poker pro who will be asked to improve the $2,000 prize pool by placing a lifestyle or once-in-a lifetime experience. The poker pro that attracts the most participants to their freeroll would not just only be taking home bragging rights either.

The winner will be recognized as king or queen of the UB.com Pro Freeroll Challenge and receive $2,500 from UB for a night on the town in Las Vegas. Aside from that, the Team UB pro who attracts the lowest number of poker players will be compelled to play concierge, doing anything the winner asks to facilitate the event.

UB is also adding an additional $500 to the Pro Freeroll Challenge prize, which the winner may utilize to tip the losing Team UB poker pro at their discretion. Once it is finish, the winning Team UB poker pro will chronicle their experience on the UB Blog.

Joe Sebok will be the first Team UB poker pro to step up to the challenge by hosting the first freeroll on February 17th, 2010 and offering the winner an opportunity to go skydiving with him in Las Vegas.

Should the winner of Sebok's Leap of Faith prefer to remain on the ground, UB is promising to substitute the skydiving experience for something just as interesting. Aside from Sebok, Team UB consists of Annie Duke, Phil Hellmuth, Brandon Cantu, Michael Binger, Liv Boeree, Tiffany Michelle and others.
