The New Episodes of Poker After Dark

On November 5th, 2007, pro players Paul Wasicka and Alan "Boston" Dvorkis made their inaugural appearances at the Poker after Dark show on NBC. After some weeks of showing old episodes of the show, PAD (Poker after Dark), it will now feature new episodes at 2:05 a.m. Pacific Time Tuesday morning on NBC.

This week's Poker After Dark show will feature up and coming poker pros Paul Wasicka and Alan Dvorkis. Wasicka is well-known for finishing second after Jamie Gold in the 2006 World Series of Poker main event. Dvorkis is long time Las Vegas player that has played in the poker circuit for about twenty-five years.

Some of the players that will also be playing at the Poker After Dark tournament are Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Matusow and Mike Sexton. Although all of these poker players have achieved substantial poker victories, none of them have been able to win a Poker After Dark Title.

Esfandiari and Gold are tied at zero to two, while Sexton is zero-one. Matusow has the worst result of all the players at this table at zero-four and will be in the same with his poker opponent Phil Hellmuth, with the worst statistics at Poker After Dark so far at zero-five.

About five episodes will be shown in the same time slot starting from Tuesday until Saturday. During early Sunday morning at 1:00 a.m., NBC will show a special "Director's Cut" Episode that shows the important highlights for the week.
