Cereus Poker Network Improves its Player Leaderboard

The CEREUS Poker Network, which is the home of UB and Absolute Poker, has improved its leaderboard, which now offers $1 million in cash prizes. The new system will give poker players with bankroll of all sizes and the overall multi-table tournament leaderb'oard will give more World Series of Poker and Aruba Poker Classic slots than ever before.

Annie Duke, UB.com's cardroom consultant said on January 6th, 2010 that they have modified their leaderboard system to make it accessible for all poker players so everyone has a fair opportunity to win. Duke said that Absolute Poker and UB continue to be the main choice for the best poker players in the world and the growing number of young players.

The 2010 overall tournament leaderboard winner will receive a prize package that includes a $10,000 World Series of Poker slot, a $5,500 entry into the Aruba Poker Classic plus $4,500 in tournament dollars.

The top fifty players on the MTT leaderboard will be invited to participate in a exclusive poker tournament giving the top three players a full $8,500 Aruba Poker Classic package and 4th and 5th place a $5,500 main event entry.

CEREUS also announced that online poker player PISCATO77 had won the 2009 title after a year of hard work. The 51 year-old Wyoming resident received $10,000 for his efforts. PISCATO77 said that he has cashed in at a few live poker tournaments including the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour but his biggest achievement to date is the 2009 UB yearly leaderboard.
